Acceptance of terms

By creating a Satio account, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.

What Satio does

Satio connects to your bank accounts to track spending and deposits, calculate a Satio Score, provide a real-time daily safe-to-spend amount, surface behavioral spending suggestions, and summarize your recurring merchants — with the goal of helping you save more, regardless of your income or spending level.

Not financial advice

Satio provides informational tools and automated observations about your own spending data. It is not a registered investment adviser, broker, or financial planner, and nothing in the app is personalized financial, investment, tax, or legal advice. Decisions you make based on Satio's suggestions are your own.

Eligibility and your account

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding contract to use Satio. You're responsible for keeping your password confidential and for all activity under your account.

Linking financial accounts

To use Satio's core features, you'll link one or more bank accounts through Plaid. You're responsible for making sure you're authorized to connect any account you link. See our Privacy Policy and "How we use Plaid" for details on what that connection does.

Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the service — including attempting to access another user's data, disrupting the service, or using it for any unlawful purpose.

Termination and account deletion

You can permanently delete your account at any time from You → Delete account, which immediately erases your data and revokes access to every linked bank — see our Privacy Policy for details. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

Disclaimers and limitation of liability

Satio is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. We aren't liable for financial decisions you make based on the app, or for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of it, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

Changes to these terms

If we make material changes to these terms, we'll notify you in the app before they take effect. Continued use after that point means you accept the updated terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Satio Money, L.L.C. is incorporated, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. (Placeholder — to be finalized during legal review.)
